Happy Monday! When Kaelyn says "I wuv you Mommy!" It just melts my heart!! I was so glad she said it on video! LOVE her!

Where have we been???

Okay, so I've neglected the blog. Please forgive me! We were out of town all last week. I was in training for work some and then we headed to FL to see Brian's parents and my best friend Chels and her husband, Jonathan. I was supposed to be working a couple of those days and I could not get internet on my laptop at all! FRUSTRATING! But anyways, and then this past Saturday we headed from FL to AL and I got to photograph my friend's wedding! It was such an honor and we had a blast! I'll post some of the pics soon... She was a beautiful bride!
We got back home late Sunday night and jumped back in the rat race of daycare and work Monday morning. Needless to say this week I have been catching up at work and editing tons of wedding pics and have not had a moment to update here! I will add trip pics soon!

Wanted to add to the below post about things Kae is saying... Kaelyn loves to sing Row Row Row Your Boat... and she can pretty much get through the whole thing. And also Jesus Loves Me... She'll look at me and say "Mommy, Bible say so" when she wants me to sing it lol! It's the cutest thing and I'll try to get it on video soon! =)
Oh, also she has transitioned from saying love you like a baby to a big girl, it's now "I wuv you Mommy, Dada, Nana, PopPop, Nonnie, PaPa, Selsea (Chelsea), etc.. She says Jonathan's name very well now, and their dog Junior, she called "DuneDune" and it was the cutest thing!

What Kaelyn is Saying these days...

"Mulch Shoes" - on the playground when she has mulch in her shoe.
"Day-sus ove me" - Jesus loves me.
"Untle Wayvid" = Uncle David, Untle TC, Untle Sar (Sarah), and Untle Jacque
We are working on saying Aunt Jacque instead, she is doing good but every once in a while still slips up. lol I about died laughing the first time she said it!
"C'mon guuuuys"
"Roll Tide, Go Bama"
"Want you Mommy" - when she wants me to pick her up, melts my heart!;)
"I want juice pease" (please)
"Juice, where is it Dada" lol
"Mulk and tookies" - Milk and cookies
"Dada Seeping" - Sleeping, she uses other names in front of this too.
"Come up Mommy" or "C'mon Mommy" - as she's tugging on me when she wants me to get up and go somewhere with her.
"Brush teeth" - she looooves standing on her Dora stool and brushing her teeth.
"Paint toes" - she's a priss already! she says this while bringing me polish.
"Hairbow in" - most of the time she doesn't leave without a hairbow/clip lol
"Mimmi Mouse and My Mouse" are still her favorite stuffed animals and she loves to snuggle with them at night. (Minnie and Mickey)
"Want my benbit" - Blanket, she HAS to be tucked in with her night night blanket, "snug as a bug in a rug" ...she loves that, but leave her arms out! lol
If I rock her for a couple of minutes before bed she wants her "benbit" on while we rock. ;)
She can identify some #s, 0, 1, 3, 5, 8, 9 .... these are her best ones, the others are hit or miss. My favorites to hear her say are 5 and 9, she sounds so grown!

I'm sure there's a ton more but I'll wrap up for now. Wish I could capture all of her in here for you, but there's just too much. We love her so!

Kaelyn uses her Potty!

If you saw the posts at the end of June you will remember Kaelyn had peed in her potty a couple of times and while visiting my best friend, "Aunt Chelsea" in FL she went poopoo on Chels' bathroom toilet. hehe Well since then she hasn't been too consistent and she tells me when she has to go poopoo but has been saying no to the potty and just going to concentrate alone in a corner. I try bribing with candy and it just hasn't been working. So hey, she'll go when she's ready, right?! Well tonight she told me "poopoo potty" so I took her back all excited as usual when she says this (most of the time we just sit there and she never goes) ...but tonight she went! =) We were so proud of our big girl! Who knows if she'll become more consistent now, but she's coming around slowly, but surely!

Hollywild Zoo

Brian and I got back into town last night and since we had a nice 3 day weekend we wanted to do something fun with Kaelyn. We decided to check out Hollywild Zoo. It was lots of fun! Kaelyn was a little skeptical at first when we got close to some of the animals, but she came around and loved feeding them! She really loved the deer, baby goats, and the monkeys (mump-mees lol)! She passed out on the ride home. She has still been running a mild fever, we think due to those new molars coming in. We hope that's all it is. It was a really fun, relaxing day... definitely not ready to head back to work tomorrow!
Oh, and I also have to say Happy Birthday to my little brother today! He is the BIG 18! Happy Birthday TC...you're officially an adult! Keep God first and make wise decisions. ;) We love you!
