Costume Parade!

Kaelyn's "school" had their costume parade this morning and I was able to go see my little Minnie Mouse! =) She was tooo cute! She had not been awake for very long and still had a little sleepy look, but still adorable...and yes, I'm partial!

Pumpkin Carving!

Today we carved our pumpkin! Everyone had a great time! The girls loved it. Daddy did most of the carving, and Skyler helped out on the mouth. Kaelyn was grossed out by the "guts" at first, but eventually she thought it was neat to touch. She hugged the pumpkin at one time and when we showed her the face she said it was a "pee sincess pumpin" (Pretty Princess Pumpkin) LOL She came up with that all on her own, but I prompted her in the video so everyone else could hear. :)

Fall Festival!

First Baptsit North had their fall festival tonight so after work we decided to take Kae out for a bit. She was very excited and kept saying "fesbull" (festival..see video below haha) on the way. We didn't know how she would do on the rides, but she LOVED them and was little miss independent! On the first ride where we all sat together in the "bowl" we thought she might want to sit on one of our laps... WRONG! lol She didn't even want us touching her. She wanted to sit there like a big girl. :) I got yummy funnel cake while Kae and Brian went down the big slide. Then we ran into some friends...Abby and her Daddy, so Kaelyn got to ride on the whale with her. They had the same jacket on so I'm pretty sure people thought they were sisters. hehe Kae had a time waiting in line to get on the ride. It was a little after 8 and she was getting tired. After this ride we got cotton candy and headed home. It was a fun night!...and Auburn lost...so pretty much a perfect night! ;)

Kaelyn's "Pumpins"

I just wanted to get her on video saying "pumpins" lol. I just love her to pieces!
Kaelyn picked on at the farm and the other is from the pumpkin patch they brought to her school/daycare. We picked a big one for carving at Strawberry Hills this weekend. You'll be seeing it soon. We'll be carving Saturday! :)

Delicious!

Nana taught Kaelyn a new word....Delicious! You can hear her say it in the video below :)

Fall is in the Air!

Well, it is definitely cooling down and we are getting some nice fall weather. Leaves are starting to change...and it's gorgeous outside. This weekend we went to Strawberry Hill USA Farms to do the pumpkin tour! We went on a hayride, made a scarecrow, and picked pumpkins! Kaelyn had a wonderful time and picked her pumpkin all by herself... We were surprised that she didn't change her mind, not even once.
Here are a few pics from the trip. :)

123's and ABC's

The sound in this video isn't that good, but you can hear her singing, counting, and doing ABC's if you listen closely! =)

Busy Busy!

It has been too long since I've blogged...ahhh! It has been a crazy couple of weeks. We had my in-laws up last weekend and then my parents came this week and we all helped get everything ready for my uncle's wedding, which was Saturday~October 11th. My mom and I were both in the wedding so there was lots to do! We helped make candy apples for the reception favors on Thursday night, Friday night was rehearsal and the rehearsal party at the bowling alley (pretty fun), and Saturday...all day helping and getting ready for the wedding. And now for all of the fun stuff that happened in between... I worked, made the wedding slideshow, picked up my great grandparents to make sure they didn't get lost on the way to rehearsal, dropped them off, came home around 11pm, and my little Kaelyn started projectile vomiting everywhere...all over her CREAM colored carpet!! And let's see that day she had orange juice, pancakes, chicken nuggets, apples, pizza, chocolate milk, candy... ugh, you can imagine. So she and I were covered in that...we headed for the bath and Brian got started on the carpet. We thought it might be all the junk she had eaten that day, but then came the fever...and the next morning was a repeat except it was clear. And I had to leave my poor baby to do wedding stuff, but Daddy took good care of her. ;) They met us at the wedding...we didn't stay at the reception too long, but it was fun. They had an awesome cake made of Krispy Kreme donuts...it looked so neat and of course was delicious! :) Congratulations David & Jacque!! We love you guys!

Here are the candy apple favors we helped with:

Jacque had shirts made for all the ladies that said "That's how I roll" for the bowling party! They even made one for Kaelyn! They also got personalized bowling shirts for the guys! We had a lot of fun! =)
